We’re still two weeks away from the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but you can make the wait easier (or maybe actually harder?) by picking up the special-edition Switch OLED that launched today, April 28. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Switch OLED console is available now at major retailers for $360. It’s somewhat surprising that the console did not sell out during its preorder phase, but that’s good news for those who were still deciding whether they wanted it or not.
That said, the special-edition console will sell out eventually–that’s just the nature of special-edition consoles in general. Other special-edition Switch OLED consoles now cost more than retail price on the secondary market, so you definitely don’t want to wait too long. In fact, it looks like the console will sell out soon, as we’re seeing stock disappear fast now that the console has launched. Here’s everywhere you can buy the special-edition Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED:
- Amazon
- Target
- Best Buy (only available for in-store pickup)
- GameStop (SOLD OUT)
- Walmart (SOLD OUT)
The console features a gold and white design. A Triforce is adorned on the center of the dock. The back panel of the console itself has a circular pattern matching the print on the right side of the dock. Meanwhile. each of the gold Joy-Con controllers has a unique pattern.
