Arguably the biggest PS5 game of 2023 swings into action in just a few months. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases exclusively for PS5 on October 20, developer Insomniac Games revealed during Summer Game Fest. If you already know you want to join Peter Parker and Miles Morales on their latest adventure, you’ll want to circle June 16 on your calendar. Preorders for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 go live at PlayStation Direct and on PSN at 10 AM (local time) that day. The game should be available to preorder at major retailers shortly after that time, too.
Multiple editions of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be up for grabs, including a Collector’s Edition with a huge Venom statue. You’ll also be able to get preorder bonuses by ordering early. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition
$70
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s standard edition costs $70 and will be available to preorder in both physical and digital formats. Regardless of which format you choose, you’ll receive the following bonuses:
- Early unlock of Arachknight Suit for Peter and 3 color variants
- Early unlock of Shadow Spider Suit for Miles and 3 color variants
- Early unlock Web Grabber gadget
- 3 skill points
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition
$80
The $80 Digital Deluxe edition comes with a whopping 10 Spidey suits, five for each Spider-Man. You also get bonus photo mode items and an extra two skill points. Keep in mind you also get the bonuses outlined above that come with the standard edition. Here’s a list of the 10 bonus suits:

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Collector’s edition costs $230 and comes with a 19-inch statue featuring Peter and Miles in battle against a very large Venom. You’ll also receive an exclusive steelbook case. You get the Digital Deluxe edition of the game with the Collector’s edition, so that means your steelbook case will be empty. But hey, you also get all of the goodies from the Digital Deluxe edition listed above.
