After more than 18 million sales, Black Myth: Wukong is officially getting a physical release on PS5, and you can preorder a copy now at major retailers. Wukong physical edition listings currently have placeholder dates, but we’ll update this article once an official release date is revealed.

Black Myth: Wukong’s physical edition is up for preorder at Amazon and Best Buy for $65–five bucks more than the $60 digital version on the PlayStation Store and Steam.
PC users can actually get the popular action-RPG for even less, though, as Fanatical is selling Wukong Steam keys for $51. The Digital Deluxe Edition, which is normally $70 and comes with extra in-game weapons and armor as well as the soundtrack, is on sale for $59.49. These deals expire on October 31.
Developed by Chinese game studio GameScience, Black Myth: Wukong is a fast-paced action-RPG game inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. As The Destined One, players have to navigate a dangerous world full of mythical monsters.
“It’s not uncommon to go from one boss fight into another and then another, and it’s in these elaborate battles where Black Myth: Wukong shines,” Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot’s 8/10 Black Myth: Wukong review. The moments in between, however, aren’t quite as strong, sometimes devolving into aimless tedium. But its satisfying combat and unique variety of boss fights mostly manages to overcome these flaws.”
