The upcoming Nicolas Cage and Nicholas Hoult monster movie Renfield releases in theaters this Friday, and to celebrate and promote the release, a Vampire Survivors-style tie-in game is here.
Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, as it’s called, is inspired by the movie and is out now on Steam Early Access for $5. The game is developed by Mega Cat Studios in partnership with Skybound and movie studio Universal Pictures.
Bring Your Own Blood is inspired by the movie’s story and has players following Dracula’s commands as Renfield. The single-player adventure game has “one-touch” gameplay and “frenetic, room-based action” as part of what Skybound calls a roguelite experience. The game has “dozens” of enemies, multiple stages, numerous bosses, and a range of weapons.
