Rocket League developer Psyonix has announced that Season 10 of the game will kick off on March 8 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, and will offer a hot hatchback to collect as part of the new Rocket Pass. The Volkswagen Golf II GTI will be unlocked immediately for holders of the premium Rocket Pass, and once it has been leveled up, an upgraded Volkswagen Golf GTI RLE can also be unlocked.
Other highlights of Season 10 include the new Deadeye Canyon arena variant, an upcoming limited-time event that will take place later this season and has a “car-focused spin” according to Psyonix, and the introduction of an average wait time counter that will replace the playlist population display. Tranquil Competitive Tournament rewards will debut this month, and Season 9’s competitive rewards will be distributed shortly after the start of Season 10.
