Although a release date hasn’t been revealed for when The Super Mario Bros. Movie will leave theaters and make its way to your home theater, a leak last week pointed to a June arrival. But if you’re eager to get your hands on the film, Amazon is offering a price guarantee that ensures you get the lowest price possible–even if its price temporarily drops after you preorder. Four different formats are up for grabs, including a digital Prime Video format for $20, Blu-ray for $25, DVD for $20, and 4K Ultra HD for $30.
The 4K UHD edition also comes with a standard Blu-ray and digital copy. Meanwhile, the standard Blu-ray version also comes with a DVD and digital copy.
While audiences are finding The Super Mario Bros. Movie to be a family-friendly thrill ride, critics are split on the title. Our review gave the film an impressive 8/10, praising it for great action sequences and remaining respectful to the source material.

Movie never feels reverent of the Mario IP, but it’s also never disrespectful,” wrote critic Phil Owen. “It’s a spot that might not have worked if the film weren’t so well put together–fortunately for us, though, The Super Mario Bros., could end up being one of the best big-budget action flicks of the year.”
